We are looking for a highly motivated board certified Neonatologist to join our team in the San Francisco Bay Area.
Responsibilities include clinical and administrative duties:
Serve as Medical Director at our level 2 NICU in San Mateo county
Participate in care at our 35 bed Level 3 center in San Francisco
Participate in innovative clinical and QI projects
Provide regional support for clinical improvement and multi-center initiatives
Our 10 neonatologist team covers 4 clinical sites and includes overseeing a group of 25 neonatal hospitalists (all within the Sutter Health System)
The main hospital base (California Pacific Medical Center) is a new 35-bed, Level-III NICU in San Francisco which has over 600 admissions annually
Services include conventional and high frequency ventilation, surgical services, body cooling and inbound transports
Pediatric Subspecialties are supported through a partnership with Stanford Children's Hospital
The practice offers a flexible schedule and a friendly supportive environment
There is opportunity to do extra shifts if desired
The ideal candidate will have an active California license and 3+ years of clinical experience
