Summary:

Westchester Medical Center Health Network is seeking a Palliative Medicine Physician to join the growing Palliative Care Section at Westchester Medical Center in Valhalla, NY. The Westchester Medical Center interdisciplinary palliative care team is dedicated to providing high quality specialist level palliative care to patients throughout the academic medical center, as well as engaging in a wide range of educational, quality improvement and research initiatives. Highlights of this position including exposure to a diverse patient population, opportunities to assist with program development for a rapidly growing section, participation in research and quality improvement projects as well as academic appointment and multiple teaching opportunities with medical students, residents and fellows across numerous specialties.

Qualifications / Requirements:

The ideal candidate should be Board Certified/Board Eligible in Palliative Medicine, and have an interest in delivering hospital-based and ambulatory patient care within an academic medical setting. Strong interest and experience in research, quality improvement or medical education is a plus.

Qualifications / Requirements:

Medical Degree with Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Hospice and Palliative Care, NYS medical license or ability to obtain one and Fellowship training in Palliative Care.
