Carle Health is seeking an additional BE/BC Neurosurgeon to join our established Neurosciences Institute in Urbana, IL.

Practice opportunity details include:

• Join a large, vertically integrated health system with a service area of over 1.5 million in the Central and Southern Illinois regions
• Our Neurosurgery team has three hospital-based Advanced Practice Providers, one clinic-based APP and excellent support staff
• Strong referral base with little local competition
• Ideal candidate should have experience/training in Endovascular Neurosurgery
• Candidates must be willing to see Endovascular cases in addition to General Neurosurgery cases and participate in Trauma call
• Single hospital with strong hospitalist and critical-care support
• Neuro ICU
• Established Neuro-interventional program with three BC physicians (Neurosurgery and Radiology-trained) with plans to expand services to cover facilities in Bloomington-Normal region
• State-of-the-art equipment including Zeiss KINEVO® microscope, StealthStation™ Surgical Navigation system, and Siemens 7T MRI Scanner
• Carle Neuroscience Institute (CNI) provides comprehensive medical and surgical services for our patients with brain and spine disorders and participates in several clinical trials for patients who come from all over the Central Illinois region

• Our Neurosciences team includes Neurology (adult & pediatric), Epileptology and EMU, Vascular Neurology, Neuro-interventional, Neuro-critical care, Neuro-radiology, Neuro-otology, Neuro-ophthalmology, Neuro-rehabilitation, Neuro-psychology, Pain management program and Sleep medicine program
• Collaborative opportunities with the University of Illinois Beckman Institute for a variety of neuroscience translational research projects as well as opportunity for faculty appointment with the Carle Illinois College of Medicine, the nation's first college of medicine focused on the intersection of engineering and medicine
• Opportunity to teach Neurosurgery residents completing rotations at Carle Foundation Hospital through Neurosurgery residency with Carle BroMenn Medical Center. Opportunity to teach medical students through the Carle Illinois College of Medicine
