Nemours is seeking an experienced Pediatric Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join our Medically Complex Care (MCCC) team in Orlando, Florida!

This position is responsible for providing care for pediatric patients with medical complexities such as technology dependent care. This clinician will complete chart reviews pre-visit, interview patients, obtain and record health histories, complete physical and developmental assessments, diagnose health problems, provide health care teaching and counseling, initiate referrals and maintain health records primarily in the outpatient setting in collaboration with the clinic's medical director and the patient's primary care provider. Many of the medically complex children require durable medical equipment for their dependence on technology, familiarity with ordering of DME would be a benefit for the APP and the MCCC team. This APP has a critical role connecting patients and their families to the care they need as a part of a collegial MCCC multidisciplinary team that takes pride in excellent patient outcomes and teaching.

Requirements:

• Must have current APRN or PA license in good standing
• Pediatric Acute Care or Primary Care Nurse Practitioner Certification required
• Current AHA BLS certification upon hire
• Minimum of two years Pediatric experience required
• Pediatric Advanced Practice experience preferred
• Prior experience in pediatric critical care, complex care, rehabilitation or palliative care preferred
