Riley Hospital for Children is seeking a dedicated Certified Anesthesiologist Assistant or Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist to collaborate with our Pediatric Anesthesiology team in Indianapolis, IN!
Position Details:
Full-time, salaried role with overtime opportunities available (7:00am-5:00pm)
In-house call split between dedicated night team and rotating day/night team
Join a large and supportive team of 30 Pediatric Anesthesiologists and 23 Pediatric CRNA and CAAs
50/50 mix of inpatient and outpatient responsibilities
Perform pre-anesthetic prep and evaluation, anesthesia induction, maintenance and emergence, post-anesthesia care and peri-anesthetic clinical support functions under direction of anesthesiologist.
Anesthesia related procedures (including but not limited to):
IV placement
Airway management
Arterial & central catheter placement
General & regional anesthesia
Neuraxial anesthesia
Qualifications:
Certified Anesthesiologist Assistant:
Must have graduated with a Master’s degree from a CAAHEP accredited Anesthesiologist Assistant Program
Must have passed the Certifying Examination for Anesthesiologist Assistants or the CDQ examination and hold current certification
Must have completed pediatric clinical rotation in training
Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist:
Must have graduated from Master’s level Nurse Anesthesia program accredited by the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs
Must have passed the National Certification Examination and hold current certification from the Council of Certification of Nurse Anesthetists
Must have completed pediatric clinical rotation in training
Must hold current ACLS and PALS certifications
Licensed or eligible for licensure in Indiana
