Responsibilities
Exciting opportunity for an experienced NNP, or highly motivated recent graduate, to join our well-established practices of neonatologists and NNPs in Columbia, South Carolina. Our team provides newborn and neonatology services at Prisma Health Richland and Prisma Health Baptist. We are expanding our team to include full-time Neonatologist and NNP care at both locations.

Prisma Health Baptist Medical Center, is a 26-bed, private room Level-III NICU
This position will also require intermittent responsibilities at our other surrounding locations
Our NNPs work in house at night with back up from the Neonatologist from home
The neonatologists provide in house coverage during the dayÂ
Support from a variety of pediatric subspecialists including a pediatric surgical service
Services provided include conventional and high-frequency ventilation, nitric oxide

Prisma Health Richland is a regional perinatal center covering 16 counties in the midlands of South Carolina.
Deliveries total 2,400 annually with 800+ admissions to the NICUÂ
Our 70-bed, Level-III NICU has an average daily census of 62 and the group provides services including conventional and high-frequency ventilation, nitric oxide, ECMO, and a very active brain cooling program
The NNPs provide in-house coverage, in either 12 or 24-hour shifts
NNPs are also responsible for: procedures, delivery attendance, admitting and rounding of patients, participating in resident teaching, newborn nursery coverage at night, post-op surgical care and CQI projects
